Electric Gauchos is an international band featuring Fernando Kabusacki, Fernando Samalea, Steve Ball, Luciano Pietrafesa and Yoyo Sevilla. They have been performing all over the world since 1997, and their live shows and extensive recordings have included many special guest collaborators including: Maria Gabriela Epumer, Charly Garcia, Michelle Bliman, Bill Rieflin, Trey Gunn, Uma Kabusacki, Lilian Guibetich, Marina Fages, Pat Mastelotto, Tiny Orchestral Moments, and the Seattle Guitar Circle.
Electric Gauchos are veterans of the League of Crafty Guitarists. Los Gauchos Alemanes. Zum, Seattle Guitar Circle, Música en Movimiento and Tiny Orchestral Moments.
In 2022, Electric Gauchos played a special show at CCK in Buenos Aires and recorded and released two CDs and a series of live videos featuring the video work of Lisa Cerati.
In 2024, Electric Gauchos will be active again in Buenos Aires, Mendoza and Seattle, performing and recording a new studio CD for release later in the year. They also aspire to tour more widely in 2024 and beyond in the United States, South America and Asia.
